Grenoble win for the second time in a row at the Stade des Alpes

The FCG hosted the UBB at the Stade des Alpes for the seventh day of the Top 14. The Grenoble team were looking for a second consecutive home win after the one they won against Perpignan.

The "Rouge & Bleu" score quickly. Adrien Latorre followed Daniel Kilioni, Gaëtan Germain and Pablo Uberti to score the first try of the match (5-0, 5').

The Grenoble team followed quickly and scored a second try by Leva Fifita, after a first-hand action where Daniel Kilioni and then Gaëtan Germain brought the ball from the 40 opponents to the end line. It was the second Tongan line that concluded (15-0, 15')

The Grenoble team will then score a third attempt, on a similar action. Etienne Fourcade escaped from the ruck and scored near the posts (25-3, 31').

Unfortunately, in the aftermath, Mahamadou Diaby scored on a personal exploit and allowed his team to reduce the gap (25-10, 35').

After a penalty from Germain, the Bordeaux team reduced the score again by Gorgadze, following a Gironde carried ball (28-17, 48').

The Grenoble players, dominators in melee, were unable to score. It was Bordeaux who took advantage of this with a try from Nans Ducuing following an interception (28-25, 75').

The last minutes were overwhelming, but the FCG won!

Let's go to the Challenge Cup with a trip to Treviso, then the reception of the Harlequins.
