FCG beaten in Treviso

The Grenoble team began their Challenge Cup journey with an Italian trip to Treviso.

The Grenoble team returned to the dressing room 7 points behind: the FCG gave too many easy balls to the hosts at the beginning of the game but they came back well at the end of the first half thanks to a dominating melee.  Duncan Casey scored after the siren, a strong test.

The second half is more complicated for the "Rouge & Bleu".  Treviso quickly scored two tries, then Halani Aulika brought the FCG back to a transformed defensive bonus try.  But too naive, the Isèrois conceded two new attempts at the end of the match (40-14)

The FCG will host the Harlequins next Saturday for the second day of the Challenge Cup.
