The ranking point on the 14th day

This season we made a big start in the championship. We are currently third, tied with the fourth. We're a match late, which we're playing in two weeks against Bordeaux.

What are the objectives?

Our ambition is to be at the top of the table. There are still 5 games left and the advantage is that there is no team that stands out at the top of the ranking, so we are holding all the cards. .
The objective is to earn as many points as possible to finish in the first two places and play in the finals.

The differences with last season?

The difference with last season is that we started the competition very well. We were able to take as many points as possible and bring back 6 wins in a row, which did us a lot of good in the standings. There were several games this season that we probably would have lost last year due to various details, and that we were able to win this year.
Rugbystically, we probably have a better conquest, especially in melee even if, for the past 2 or 3 games, we have been a little less successful than at the beginning of the season. We are able to maintain a high level of performance and produce a quality game.

What about the next game against the UBB?

We're playing our next game against Bordeaux, which is a postponed game that was supposed to take place in December. We are tied with them in the ranking. It's a team that gave us 49 points in the first leg. They are a team that is very strong in all areas, especially in defence and that sends a lot of play.

How do I win?

We have a big problem of indiscipline in the last few games so we're really going to have to work on that, as well as on the defensive side. We haven't been able to put the same intensity as in the first phase and we take a lot of penalties. The key is also not as efficient as it was at the beginning of the season.
We're not going to rewrite rugby, but in order to win this game against the UBB, which will be extremely important, we'll have to be very disciplined and work hard over and over again.

The final word

We learned this morning that one of the players on our team, Cedric Wieme, who plays winger or back, broke his inner cruciate ligament. He has already received messages from the entire team, but we would like to wish him a speedy recovery and good rehabilitation.
