Departure of Dewald Senekal and new organization of the sports staff

The change of division implies, for the clubs concerned, significant and rapid changes for obvious economic reasons. In this context, the FCG has agreed to release Dewald Senekal so that he can leave for the Stade Français Paris.

This will result in the following evolution of our sports staff for the next season:
- Stéphane Glas will be the head coach of the FCG.
- Cyril Villain, Jean Noël Perrin and Jérôme Vernay also continue their various missions in the team led by Stéphane Glas
- We will announce very soon the replacement for Dewald Senekal
- Franck Corrihons also continues his role as Director of Rugby Development and leads our global sports project from training to professional group training

Michel Martinez, Chairman of the Executive Board: "I would like to thank Dewald for his involvement in our team. When he joined us we were at the start of our ambitious sports project. He has been 100% committed to us in a difficult period, and has always been part of all our struggles. I wish him and his family a happy continuation for the rest of his career. "

Dewald Senekal: "I would like to thank the entire club, our supporters and partners, the administrative staff and all the people with whom I have worked during these two years at the FCG. It is an experience and an opportunity that has made me grow and evolve, I wish the best to the Club and the players for the coming years."

We will soon announce the first changes in the number of players. All these developments are made in the ambitious perspective of our sports project which aims to establish us in the long term in the elite of French rugby by relying on training and the early detection of talent.
