Back to the Stade des Alpes, Grenoble will face Aurillac

Last game of the first block

After two successful trips to Carcassonne and Aix-en-Provence, the FCG will return to Grenoble and the Stade des Alpes for the fourth round of Pro D2, and will host Aurillac. The "Rouge & Blue" must win this match to validate this first block. On its way, the FCG will therefore find Aurillac, who has the same number of points as the Isèrois, with two wins (including one away in Rouen) and one defeat.

While Aurillac lost one of its leaders this summer (Joris Segonds joined the Stade Français), the former club of Théo Nanette and Anthony Alves is relying on a stable group, but which had just escaped the relegation (61 points, against 60 for Bourg-en-Bresse). But, like Colomiers, the performances from one season to the next are not the same. And the start of the Aurillacois' season confirms it.

Trapped by Colomiers, the "Rouge & Bleu" do not want to make the same mistakes as the Aurillacois. The visitors, on the other hand, will be looking for their first victory in Grenoble since 2009.

The latest results
Aurillac has the same record as the FCG at the start of the season, with 9 points, two wins and one loss. The Cantalians started with two wins (against Biarritz, 23-19, and in Rouen, 13-24), but were defeated at home on the last day by Béziers (20-24)

The next games
After the matchless weekend, Aurillac will host Montauban, then travel to Vannes before receiving the USAP.
