For the first match of the season, the young "Rouge & Bleu" played against their Lyon neighbours. The Grenoble players were the first to score with a penalty at the 17'. In addition to these 3 points, the FCG scores a converted try at the 26', this is unfortunately not enough, the Rhone Valley players score three times with 100% success at the foot. The scenario repeats itself in the 2nd half, the Grenoble players score and transform, a penalty try comes to reinforce the score but the Lyon players, more pragmatic, score twice and also benefit from a penalty try, final score: 42-24.

"Beautiful weather, blue sky, not a cloud on the horizon but a heat to die for!
Big first half for the girls, rhythm in attack, precision in defence, an undivided domination: 33 - 0 at half time (5 tries including 4 conversions).
Beginning of the second half in half-tone, slackening due to fatigue and conditions, we score 3 points before taking a transformed try.
After the second waterbreak and the re-entry of all the reinforcements, we score 2 tries (untransformed) again to finish on a river score of 46 - 7.
Great play and an irreproachable state of mind against a team that woke up in the second half.
A great performance from all the players, not one of them was below the expected level, special mention to the 5 in front for their performance especially in the closed scrum, to the 3rd line for their activity, to the hinge and to the first centre who animated the game with a permanent support of the forwards and a trio of backs who were sharp on each intervention.
