October was not perfect for the FCG, with losses on the road and close wins at home.
"Yes, that's not really what we wanted. But it happens. Fortunately, it's a very long season. Unfortunately, we've also been hit by Covid in the last couple of weeks. We didn't play. But I hope we'll bounce back on Friday against Rouen at the Stade des Alpes. "
Have you been able to rest, especially mentally, with the postponed game in Angoulême?
"I think so. I hope it will be a good thing for the team. Because it was like a little vacation. We let go of rugby a bit. We're getting off the field a little bit. I hope it's going to work out. "

The rules on contests changed this summer. Do you think it makes it easier for you in your game?
"It helped me a little bit for the first 3, 4 weeks. But I think refereeing has evolved with the game. It's not going to be as easy as it was in the first 3 or 4 games. "
Closed-door games, postponed games, weekly tests... How do you feel about rugby in the Covid era?
"I think we adapt better to it. At the beginning, it's a bit weird. Playing the games behind closed doors, doing the tests every week. Stuff like that. But it's become a habit now. It's life for everyone. Hopefully we'll get past this virus soon. "
With the postponed game in Angoulême, you could play every weekend from January to April. You're already thinking about it?
"No, not yet. I don't hope so, I really don't hope so... "
