The people of Grenoble will launch the year 2021 at Oyonnax on Thursday evening.

The " Red & Blue " must imperatively relaunch themselves at the beginning of this year with a block of 4 matches which will define the stakes for the end of the season. The first will not be easy with a trip to Oyonnax, currently 3rd in the championship. After a very good start to the season, the Ain club marked the end of the year with two home defeats against Vannes and Biarritz. This match will therefore be of capital importance for both teams, with FCG determined to take all possible points to avoid having to look down the standings.

For this match, the Grenoble staff has decided to change its 3rd line with the appointment of Julien Ruaud and Tanginoa Halaifonua. Steeve Blanc Mappaz will be captain. Florian Zupan will be the new starting player in the scrum and a bench that leaves plenty of room for the Grenoble team.

The starting XV: Jérôme Rey - Jean Charles Oriolli - Ilia Kaikatsishvili - Leva Fifita, William Demotte - Tanginoa Halaifonua - Steeve Blanc-Mappaz (C) - Julien Ruaud - Florian Zupan - Enzo Selponi - Karim Qadiri - Taleta Tupuola - Adrien Seguret - Benito Masilevu - Corentin Glenat.
The replacements : Lilian Rossi - Zack Gauthier - José Madeira - Clement Ancely - Théo Nanette - Romain Trouilloud - Fabien Guillemin - Régis Montagne
