14th round of Pro D2
After Perpignan at the end of November, the "Rouge & Bleu" made a second trip to a direct competitor, with Biarritz, on Thursday, at Stade Aguiléra. Like the Catalans, the Basques are currently undefeated in their lair, with 6 wins in as many games. It is their performances on the road (only one victory, in Valence-Romans), which do not allow the Biarrots to currently be higher than sixth in Pro D2.
It is thanks to his defence that the Oranje have been able to maintain their invincibility at home since the beginning of the season. With 5 tries conceded (78 points), the Basques are the second best defense at home (Béziers, first). On the other hand, the FCG has the best attack on the move (in terms of number of tries scored, 12). This stylistic opposition will have to be observed, despite the complicated climatic conditions that are expected on the Basque coast.
In the biarrot squad, the Grenoble team will be joined by James Hart, who wore the "Red & Blue" jersey. The former FCG half-middle, trained at the Club, started his 8 games with the biarrot jersey (one try)
