A takeover carried out under special conditions
If you've been walking around Parc Bachelard or driving down rue Albert Reynier in the last few days, you may have come across small groups of players, who are wiping their feet, running or playing rugby, or almost.
Indeed, in order to best respect the takeover protocol set up by the French Rugby Federation and the National Rugby League, the "Rouge & Bleu" are separated into 8 groups of 6 or 7 players, who do not cross each other between workshops, whether in the weight room, on the Bachelard pitch or in the annex of the Lesdiguières Stadium.
This constraint is also reflected in the daily schedule. While the stadium is normally very busy at this time of the season, with 7 to 8 hours at the stadium, for this preparation for the 2020-2021 season, Grenoble players spend less than two hours at the Lesdiguières complex.
The "Rouge & Bleu" will continue this mode of preparation before hopefully returning to a more collective and classic organization.
FCG players have resumed training. With specific conditions to avoid the spread of the Covid19.https://t.co/hDnzCpl9ER #AllezFCG pic.twitter.com/UirY6EZUJ1
