  • Espoirs

Following yesterday's and upcoming government announcements, an exceptional federal office was held to discuss our country's health situation and the impact on our amateur rugby competitions.
The decisions taken are as follows:
1. Suspension of all amateur competitions until the beginning of January 2021 (except for the competitions dealt with in point 3).

2. Cancellation of all final phases of the 2020-2021 season to allow the opportunity to finish all 20/21 competitions at the end of the season.

3. Organisation of a consultation of the National, Federal 1, Women's Elite and Espoirs clubs to determine the conditions for the continuation of their competitions, depending on whether or not they are integrated by the authorities into the professional field. The application decree to be published tomorrow could allow certain competitions to continue during the confinement period.

4. The federal health protocol will be taken over next Monday by the dedicated crisis unit, on the basis of the application decree to be published tomorrow, which will determine the conditions for minors to continue their sporting activities.
As a result, the matches and tournaments of the rugby school collectives, the Minimes, Cadets, Crabos, Amazones U18 and Amazones Federal 1 are postponed to a later date.
We will have more information on the coming days concerning the Espoirs and Elite 1 teams.
