Louis Mouz, an educator and physical trainer at FCG, has been working virtually for several weeks at the Grenoble Henri Tarze emergency accommodation centre to provide sports sessions for the residents. He tells us about this great project:
"Following exchanges with Isabelle Campanella and Najim Hamadi, in charge of integration at the Grenoble Henri Tarze emergency accommodation centre, we set up shared sports sessions with the residents. For health reasons, we are currently carrying out the sessions in video with Zoom. On a bi-monthly basis, we meet by screen for 45 minutes. The aim of these sessions is to get back into regular physical activity, to improve their physical condition but also the psychological benefits of the practice, which can help them in their social and professional reintegration.
The medium-term objective is to hold the sessions at the centre or within Lesdiguières, for better exchanges and to create a link with the residents. We would also like to offer weekly sessions, to have a real follow-up of the practice, an accompaniment of each one of them."
