Manu Pellorce, coach of the Amazons Elite 1, looks back on this weekend's defeat at the Stade Bordelais.
"First of all, congratulations to this team from Bordeaux for their performance.
We got into the game well, but Bordeaux quickly put their game in place and we left them too much space in defence. We had to reorganise ourselves during the match, because our midfield players, one sick and the other injured, could not hold out for the whole match. We had a blip at the beginning of the second half with a try, but not enough to turn the game around.
In the end, a heavy defeat. The group is nevertheless extremely united and had some very good words at the end of the match which proves that our work of cohesion works.
We're going to continue to build with this very very young group with great potential".
